Dr. Kelly Padgett
Dr. Padgett is an Optometrist in Centralia providing complete eye care services for the surrounding communities.
Dr. Padgett grew up in Pacific County and did undergraduate studies at Grays Harbor Community College and Eastern Washington University. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon in 2011. Dr. Padgett emphasizes excellent ocular and systemic health for people of all ages.
As a mother of two, Dr. Padgett understands the importance of good eye health and vision for pediatric patients. She strives to provide a comfortable environment for parents to bring their children for quality eye examinations. She also stresses the importance of good vision for children to ensure success in school. Dr. Padgett urges all parents to have their children examined annually through the school years. Dr. Padgett also provides no cost eye health examinations for infants (ages 6-12 months) through the Infantsee program.
As an optometric physician, Dr. Padgett provides exams, diagnoses, and treatments of disorders that affect the eye or vision. In addition to training in eye diseases and disorders, Dr. Padgett is also trained in anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology. With this background, Dr. Padgett is trained to recognize a range of health issues; such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes and hypertension.
Dr. Padgett works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. It is because of Dr. Padgett's dedication to continuing education that our Centralia patients receive the most modern and progressive vision care available.
